ACS Symposium
Controlled/Living Radical Polymerization
Washington, DC, August 28-September 1, 2005
The Polymer Division of the American Chemical Society will organize Symposium on "Controlled/ Living Radical Polymerization" at the National Meeting of the American Chemical Society in Washington, DC, August 28-September 1, 2005. This is a sequel to the previous very successful Meetings taking place in San Francisco in 1997. New Orleans in 1999 and Boston in 2002. The proceedings from the last meetings have been published in the books "Controlled Radical Polymerization", ACS Symposium Series, Vol. 685 (1998), "Controlled/Living Radical Polymerization", ACS Symposium Series, Vol. 768 (2000) and "Advances in Controlled/Living Radical Polymerization", ACS Symposium Series, Vol. 854 (2003).
The Washington Symposium will cover recent advances in kinetic, mechanistic and synthetic aspects of the rapidly developing field of controlled radical polymerization.
Symposium with approximately fifty lectures and a poster session is planned. The deadline for submission of the abstracts and two page paper for "Polymer Preprints" is April 25, 2005. Downloadable "Polymer Preprint" Template is available at http://uweb.txstate.edu/science/polymerpreprints/instructions.htm
