New
Developments in Coatings Technology Symposium
CALL FOR PAPERS
ACS Fall
National Meeting, POLY, PMSE Divisions and FSCT
Philadelphia,
PA. August 22-26, 2004
This symposium will cover a wide range of coating related
topics. The theme of this conference
will be to establish the current state-of-the-art work in synthetic polymer
chemistry for coatings research.
The conference will feature invited speakers from academia, government
and industry which will include such diverse topics as synthesis of polymers
for coatings, inorganic/organic composite coatings, nanocomposites,
applications of polymer coatings (bioresistant, anticorrosion, etc.),
mechanisms of coating degradation, testing and performance of coatings,
formulations (water-borne, powder, etc.), specialty coatings, industrial
coatings and environmental issues. A tutorial session and poster session will
be included in the program.
The POLY Division requires an abstract and preprint.
The submission date is April 20, 2004.
