Abstract and Preprint Deadline: October 17, 2011
The symposium will cover the latest advances in the synthesis, characterization and application of systems based upon the self-assembly of polymers. Recent developments in the structural control of polymeric-based systems at the molecular level have provided insight into the critical properties for application of these systems in advanced technologies. The focus of this symposium will be on new materials and chemistries that have enabled the application of self-assembled polymer and hybrid systems in the biological, renewable energy, and nanotechnology fields.
