POLY named ACS's Outstanding Large Division
- for 1994. (8/95) (see below)
August 22, 1995
At the Divisional Officers Group (DOG) dinner in Orlando, the
Division of Polymer Chemistry, Inc. was named the Outstanding Large Division
for 1995. In 1995, there was a tie and the award was shared with PMSE. Both Divisions had excellent years.
POLY has had this honor several times in recent years including: 1995, 1994, 1991, 1989, 1984, 1982.
The award was based on the reports submitted to the ACS Divisional Activities Committee by the secretary and treasurer. The very hard work of a number of talented scientists/engineers made the Division activities outstanding. The chair for 1995 was Bill Daly.
Congratulations to all that helped POLY reach this goal.
POLY named ACS's Outstanding Large Division - for 1994.
August 31, 1995
It is with great pleasure that we announce that the Division of Polymer Chemistry, Inc. has been chosen as the Outstanding Division for 1994 in the large division category. The award was based on the achievements for 1994 which were reported in the annual report to the ACS. Excerpts from this report were in the Spring '94 Newsletter. Burton Anderson of duPont was chair of the Division during 1994. Many people contribute to the success of the Division each year and the Executive Committee wishes to thank all of them for their support.
The ACS has about 33 Divisions. POLY has earned this award in 1982, 1984, 1989, 1991, and now 1994. We are pleased that you are an "Outstanding Division Member".
